HondaCare Warranty Cover

3 Year Mechanical Warranty


Limited to 100,000 Km (60,000 miles) covers your Honda against any defects in materials and workmanship.

3 Year Surface Corrosion Warranty

Guarantees the paintwork of your Honda against any defects in materials and workmanship.

5 Year Exhaust System Warranty

Covers perforation to the exhaust system.

12 Year Corrosion Warranty

Covers panels and structural parts of your car against perforation caused by corrosion from the inside out (excluding the exhaust system).

10 Year Chassis Corrosion Warranty

Applies to certain components* where the function is affected mechanically due to corrosion.

5 Year IMA Warranty

The Integrated Motor Assist warranty is in addition to the standard warranty and relates to Hybrid components on Hybrid models.


*Suspension arms, suspension beams, drive shafts, brake lines, fuel lines, fuel tank, springs.

To qualify for the additional benefits of the new warranty the requirements below must be met by the Honda owner: 

  • An annual inspection of the vehicle for corrosion must be carried out at an authorised. Honda dealer and will be offered free of charge by that dealer.
  • Notified damage to be repaired by a Honda approved body shop at the customer's expense. It is the owner's responsibility to carry out any rectification identified in order to maintain the warranty.
  • Records of inspection to be kept by dealer and customer. The dealer and customer must ensure the service book is stamped accordingly.

    If the annual inspection is not carried out (starting from the date of first registration) the 12-year structural corrosion warranty detailed above will be invalidated.


The HondaCare Roadside Assistance Programme

HONDACARE ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

In addition to the standard warranty terms of your Honda vehicle, we are pleased to include a customer service package "The HondaCare Roadside Assistance Programme" designed to ease the discomfort and inconvenience of a breakdown in the unlikely event of its occurrence. The HondaCare Roadside Assistance programme is issued for a period of 36 months with our compliments and covers all new Honda motor vehicles purchased from an Authorised Honda Dealer and registered in the Republic of Ireland.
